Barbara Jean Radcliffe 6/16/1929 - 2/27/2018 was born in Portland Oregon to Burgess and Helga Williams.
She lived much of her life in Portland raising her family and working for Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Oregon.
Barbara and her husband Bill Radcliffe enjoyed traveling, from camping with family to long RV trips covering all of the lower 48 states
as well as Canada and Mexico. They honeymooned in Hawaii, toured in Alaska and later visited Central America, Europe, the Orient,
Australia and Africa. Three of the foreign trips were made with a group putting on square dance exhibitions along with touring.
After retirement, in 1986, Bill and Barbara moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ where Barbara rediscovered the joys of singing
with the Lake Havasu Community Choir and honed her skills with the Wednesday bridge club. They continued square dancing
and spend much time cruising the lake on their pontoon boat enjoying the warm water, finding places for a swim and a picnic.
Each summer they'd spend several weeks in Portland visiting family & friends.
In her last years Barbara was well cared for by her husband Bill and the staff at SunHaven Assisted Living with Hospice care.
She will be missed by many including her husband of 56 years William Radcliffe and her sister Geraldine Tannehill, her daughters
Melody Hesseltine and Linnea Altenhein, her step daughter Shirley McNamee and stepsons Bob and Ben Radcliffe.
No local services are planned.
