David Christopher Orr, 44, became an angel in heaven on February 29, 2020. David was born in West Covina, CA on August 21, 1975. He had an adventurous spirit, and lived for helping others. If you came into his life for even a moment, you left as a friend for a lifetime.
David enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball, boating, ATVs and camping. He valued his family and encouraged the opportunities to make memories whenever possible. He lived his life to the fullest without any regrets.
David was married to his wife, Laura, on October 23, 2003. Together, they owned and operated the Wayside Oasis RV Park, Bar & Grill near Alamo Lake, AZ. They have 3 children: Caden, Ashlyn and KInleigh, who Dave loved more than life itself.
David was a commercial HVAC specialist and worked for Temp Control Mechanical in Portland, OR and TD Industries in Phoenix, AZ. He also worked as a Building Engineer for Centum Health Properties before recently acquiring his AZ Contractors License this past February which he was planning to use to go back into business for himself as Crosshair Construction. David left a trail of success through every job he traveled.
Besides his wife and children, David left behind his Parents: Jeff Orr (Gerri), Christine Hutton (Mac) and In-laws Alan Hall (Sandra). Brothers: Michael Orr (Monica), Robert Picou (Mary) & Joe Vincent (Deb) Sisters: Lindsay Borntrager (Ray), Joanne Hull, Stacey Wrightson (John), Erika Llewelyn (Jimmy) & Jackie Zickel (David). Grandmother: Vera Moore, Uncle: John Orr (Laura), Aunt: Karen Covarrubias (John) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He has been reunited in heaven with his Paternal Grandparents: Charles & Alma Orr, Maternal Grandfather: Norman Moore, Uncles: Chuck Orr and Paul Orr and nephew, Matthew Charles Orr
A Celebration of Life is planned for May 2, 2020 at Upland Church of Christ in Upland, CA at 2 pm
