Obituary

Edward Lloyd Miller, 87, went to be with the Lord September 27 at the Polidori House with his wife and daughters at his side. He was born in Seattle, Washington to George and Helen Miller. Ed had two brothers George and Richard and two sisters Mary and Jeannie. He went to Washington State College, he played football through high school, college, and the army. In 1982 he met the love of his life Ruth and they married in 1986. Ed was a truck driver and a mason. He retired in Burbank, California. Then in 1992 they moved to Lake Havasu where they enjoyed fun in the sun. Ed was a member of the Legion, VFW, and the Eagles. He was a tireless and selfless volunteer at the Eagles. A trustee for 14 years, was the head of the kitchen and volunteered for everything. He spent so much time in the kitchen they finally called it "Big Eds Kitchen". Ed is survived by his wife Ruth, brother Richard, daughters Wendy, Debbie (Michael), and Vickie, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ed's children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of his kind spirit, passion for football, camping and boating and his zest for life will live through them. You had a smile for everyone, you had a heart of gold, you left behind some memories that we will forever hold. So today we say goodbye as you take your final rest. Your loving family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
