George Clifford Guntle, 52, of Lake Havasu City, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2017 in South Carolina. He was born on June 12, 1965 in Lancaster, California to Harold Clifford and Joan Rae Guntle. George spent his working career as a masonry foreman. In his free time, he liked to fish and watch football, especially the Cardinals. George was a family man, he loved family get-togethers and BBQs. Spending time with his grandchildren was a priority and you could always find George helping others. George is survived by his life partner, Tammy Lynn Ellis; sons, Matthew Clifford Guntle, Jonathon Michael Guntle, Jonathon Allen Held, and Zach Lamar Lucas; daughters, Jessica Lee Lucas, and Crystal Anne Easton; parents Harold C. and Joan R. Guntle; brothers, Gary (Linda) Guntle and Greg Guntle; sisters, Caryn (Kevin) Lynch, Kathy Raun, Mary (Don) Schmidt, and Marcia (Michael) Larsen, grandchildren Levi and Lilly Lucas, and Aliyah Lugo; 10 nieces and nephews; and 8 grand-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Clifford and Norma Lavina Baker Guntle and Ray Orville and Virginia Lee Pulse; and his nephew David Ray Reid. A memorial will be held at London Bridge Beach State park on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 11:00am. A potluck/picnic celebration of life will immediately follow the service. George will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
