Helen Ruth Pollard, 91, of Kingman, AZ passed away in her home on June 2, 2021. Helen was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 31, 1930; daughter of John and Carrie Hemphill. She attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX. Helen married John F. Pollard on November 27, 1948 in Corpus Christi, TX. He sadly passed away. Helen first worked as a Southwestern Bell Telephone Operator from 1948-1951. She then was employed with Shell Oil Company from 1952-1958. Helen moved on to work for Tenneco Oil Company from 1959-1970. She then worked for Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX from 1970-1990; after which she retired. Helen enjoyed taking care of her family, watching movies, gaming and travel. Helen is survived by her Son, Matt (Julie) Pollard of Laughlin, NV; Daughter, Carrie Nicolas of San Antonio, TX; 3 Granddaughters, Gretchen (Taylor) Jones of Austin, TX, Gwen Hanson of Austin, TX, Candis (Owen) Carithers of Kingman, AZ, and Randi (Brandon) Cuniff of Las Vegas, NV; Grandson, Matthew (Andreah) of Corpus Christi, TX; 9 Great-grandchildren, Ty and Elle Jones, Louis, Rhys, and Jonathon Carithers, Averie and Adonis Pollard, and Evan and Maddy Greer; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.
