A loving father, brother, son, and friend was born during the Great Depression on April 21, 1936 to Jules and Josephine Carpentier in Des Moines Iowa. Jack grew up in Des Moines along with older brothers Robert and William. After graduating high school, Jack joined the United States Navy as a Naval Air Corp. mechanic from 1954 - 1958. Upon completion of service, Jack joined his brother Robert, and later by the rest of the family in Southern California, where he met and married Cheryl Rawlins. Jack loved his family and family get togethers; whether it be up in the mountains at Christmas, or at their trailer by Pine Flat Lake. It is of great comfort knowing that Jack is now with Cheryl, whom he referred to as his soulmate, who preceded him in death. Jack is survived by his daughter Tammy King, son Scott, daughter-in law Monica, and 4 grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Tyler, and Courtney. Private family services to be held at a later date.
