It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of James Nelson Pierce, on August 3, 2020, at the age of 76. Jimbo, as he likes to be called, was born in Herkimer, NY, where he lived until the age of 6 when his family relocated to Arizona. He was a proud Italian man who loved his family. He had a quick wit and always had a story to share. He had a love for cars and his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Candy, his sons, Matt and Tony, and his bonus daughters, Susie and Chris. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Hailey, Allisun , Dylan, Jacob, Matt, and Zac. Jimbo loved spending time with his friends, Sal and Bernice. You'd often find him playing craps or at the Sports Book at the Avi or Harrahs, where he made many friends who were like family. Without a doubt, Jimbo will definitely be missed. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in his name to the Salvation Army, which was near and dear to Jimbo's heart.
