It is with great sadness that the family of Jennie Orozco Navarrette announce her passing on May 13, 2021 after a long struggle with cancer, she was 85.
Jennie was born on August 25, 1935 in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to Claremont, California in 1946 with her family and became a naturalized citizen of the United States on June 7, 1963.
She married the love of her life, Joe Ignacio Navarrette on October 20, 1956 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Claremont California as they began their life together in San Dimas, California and started their family. They resided in Montclair California for 35 years before relocating to Fort Mohave, Arizona where they spent 12 years together prior to Joe's passing in 2011. They were married for 55 years. They had a passion for dancing, fishing, gardening, gambling and spending time with their family.
Jennie is survived by her two daughters Rosalind Martinez of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ramona & Paul Tuscher of Bakersfield, California, two sons, Jerry Navarrette of Fort Mohave, Arizona and Johnny & Minerva Navarrette of Fullerton, California, 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and one brother Louis Orozco of Montclair, California. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and sons Joey Navarrette and Jimmy Navarette.
Services will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Bullhead City, Arizona starting at 10:00 am, followed by a Graveside Service at Desert Lawn Memorial Gardens in Mohave Valley, Arizona on June 11, 2021.
