Joseph Alvarado, 66, Golden Valley, AZ, passed away on October 10, 2016 at home with family and under the care of Hospice. Joseph John Alvarado was born on June 6, 1950 at Kingman, AZ to Joe and Bertha (Torres) Alvarado. After high school, he enlisted in the US Army from 1971-1974 and served three years in Combat in Vietnam. Joe returned to Kingman where he resided before moving to St. Joseph, MO in 1996 to 2002, working as a maintenance supervisor for St. Joseph's Hospital. Upon his return to Kingman he continued to work in maintenance. Joe is survived by daughters Cynthia, Theresa, Janelle Alvarado, all of the Phoenix Metro Area; sisters JoAnn (Carl) Hobbs, Green Valley, AZ, Christine Alvarado-Perry, Kingman, AZ and Linda (Robert) Sena, Golden Valley, AZ; and five grandchildren Sophie, McCray, Jayden, Jasmine and Jordan. He was preceded in death by his wife Patty Alvarado and daughter Melissa Alvarado.
