Joseph Sauka, age 70 passed away suddenly on August 14, 2020. Born in Borovo, Yugoslavia he served in the military before coming to America at the age of 23. In 1979 Joseph was proud to become an American Citizen. Joseph was a mechanic and a machinist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for over 30 years. He also worked as a Deli/Bakery manager in Florida before retiring to Laughlin, NV where he lived for 8 years. Joseph had a passion for cooking. He enjoyed walking, especially on the beach. He loved nature and had a great admiration for hummingbirds. He loved music, history, and people. He was always there to lend a hand. He played soccer and was also a coach. He loved swimming and tennis. Joseph had a great love for his family pets, especially Luigi and Smores. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolf and Dragica, and his sister, Lela. Surviving is his wife Debra of 45 years; 3 children, Bryan(Holly), Andrea(Jeremy), and Sabrina. He was a loving grandfather to Belle, Emma, and Andrew. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joseph will be truly missed by family and friends.
