Kari Wendy Kewish, 44, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on September 5, 2018 after a two-year battle with a rare form of cancer known as EHE or epithelioid hemangioendothelioma.
Kari was born on November 13, 1973 in Tarzana, California to Kenneth William Kewish Jr. and Sharon Lee (Mclean) Kewish. The family moved to Lake Havasu City in 1982. Kari graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 1992 and went on to work in many fields including Cosmetology (hair dresser), Education (preschool teacher), Customer Service (K-Mart) and her last employment was with the Lake Havasu Unified School District where she was an administrative assistant for 13 years.
Kari touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Her family was very important to her and she was an extremely proud mother to her two-year-old daughter, Serenity Paige, who was the greatest blessing and accomplishment in her life as she had told many friends and family.
Kari was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth William Kewish Sr., Marjory Kewish, Charlotte Urciuoli, and her uncles James, Douglas, and Jack Kewish.
Kari is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Sharon Kewish, daughter Serenity Paige Bradley-Kewish, sister Sheryl (Daniel) Delgado, nephew Cody (Alisha) Delgado and their daughters Hailey and Natalie, niece Michaela Delgado and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:30 am at First Baptist Church located at 1535 El Camino Drive in Lake Havasu City followed by a Celebration of Life reception at Jack Hardie Park Ramada 6.
