Laurel Kay Nelson, 71 of Kingman, Arizona passed away August 14, 2017. She was born on May 3, 1946 in Underwood, North Dakota to Margaret Finneman and Carl Reimers. Laurel is survived by her husband, Robert Arthur Nelson of Kingman, Arizona; Daughter, Teresa Peterson; Son, Michael Nelson; Sister, Marilyn Reimers; and Brothers, David and Chuck Reimers. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Patrick David Nelson. Laurel was dedicated to children and people. She was mom to many; together Robert and Laurel raised over 32 foster children. She loved Christmas and had several hobbies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services are pending.
