MARVIN HERMAN HATTING Marvin Herman Hatting, age 89, passed into eternal life with his savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, October 19, 2018. Services were held at St. John Lutheran Church, Bullhead City, AZ on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born in Wall Lake, Iowa on August 9, 1929. Marvin graduated from High School in 1948. The Same year he went to work for a Ford Dealer as a car salesman in Melvin, Iowa and worked there for eight years. In 1956 he went to Paullina, Iowa. In 1956 he met Verla Grimberg at a dance. On January 8th they got married. In November their first child was born. They had 5 children, Mark, Wayne, Susan, Neal and Lisa. Mark died in 2013. In 1959 Marvin went to work for GM Dealer. In 1965 he was transferred to Mankato, Minn. to manage a dealership for GMC Truck: 1967 he bought a dealer out, in St. James, Minn. He was a dealer for 25 years until he sold out to another dealer. He was a member of Chamber of Commerce, a Watonwan County advisor, also for Mankato College, plus other things. He moved to Bullhead City in 1998 and became a member of St. John Lutheran Church, was a head usher for many years.
