It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Quintin Gomez Jr., who left this world on May 17, 2025, at the age of 85 in Kingman, Arizona. Born on August 10, 1939, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Quintin was a beloved figure known for his kindness, honesty, and unwavering humility.
Quintin dedicated a significant part of his life to the field of communications, serving as a radio operator in the Marines from 1957-1960. His professional journey is marked by a genuine commitment to his work and an admirable ability to connect with others. Colleagues and friends alike remember him for his integrity and dedication, which made a positive impact on those around him.
Though Quintin's life was marked by professional accomplishments, it was his personal relationships that defined him. He is survived by his cherished niece, Kathleen Gagen, her husband Thomas, nephew’s; James Powers, and his wife Gay; Michael Powers and his wife Mary, along with many great nieces and nephews, as well as several cousins, all of whom hold his memory dear. One of Quintin’s most endearing traits was his capacity for kindness; he had a unique ability to make those around him feel valued and understood.
Quintin's journey has come to an end, but his legacy of compassion and integrity, will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
