SUSAN KAY NERDAHL-HUNT (1959-2018) Susan Kay Nerdahl-Hunt, age 59, loving Mother and Grandmother, was called to heaven while surrounded by her family on Monday, December 24, 2018. She entered this world on May 19, 1959 in Fargo, N.D., born to Sidney and Marilyn Nerdahl. Sue always listened to people, never left anyone out or judged anyone. She was very dedicated and hardworking. She worked many years as partners with her father at Nerdahl Appraisal. She loved working alongside her family until her father's retirement and went to work for a law office as a receptionist. She enjoyed working and often put others needs before her own. It was the simple things in her life that she never took for granted, commenting daily how fortunate she was for her family and grateful to be so close to her children and grandchildren. Her laughter and warm smile would light up the room. Her positive and kind nature can never be forgotten. She loved traveling with husband, Kevin and going to the beach. Above all, Sue was absolutely a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a woman of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christs' love and the beauty and peace that would await her after passing. Preceded in death by her father, Sidney whom she has missed dearly. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Hunt; son, Shawn (Robert) Lopez-Nerdahl; daughters, Sara (Damian) Zimmerman, Amanda Gibson, Michelle Page; mother, Marilyn Nerdahl; sisters, Karen (John), Sherry; brother, Joel (Roz); grandchildren, Summer, Sierra, Sydney, Deacon, and Preston; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bullhead City, Arizona. Potluck reception to follow.
